I've always been interested in the stock market. In fact, I've been fascinated by it since I was a little kid. My dad used to take me down to his office on the weekends and let me watch him work. He told me that he was buying and selling stocks all day long, and that it was his job to keep track of which stocks were doing well or poorly so that he could make better decisions about buying and selling them at the right times.
He always told me that if I wanted to be successful as an adult, I would have to learn how to invest wisely—and he convinced me that this was a skill worth learning. My dad really believed in me, and he made sure that our family had enough money for all of our needs without ever having to worry about credit cards or loans from banks or anything like that. It's because of him that I'm so interested in finance today.
