I think that cryptocurrency will be widely accepted as a form of payment about a month before we lose all of our money, at which point we will have no choice but to accept it.
Seriously though, I think that it's going to take some time for cryptocurrency to become widely accepted as an alternative form of payment. However, we're getting closer every day. You can already buy things with Bitcoin and Ethereum in many places around the world. And companies like Amazon and Apple are starting to accept crypto payments from customers who want to buy from them.
It's really only a matter of time before we start seeing more businesses accepting crypto as well as more people using it themselves.
