HPE's GreenLake for Large Language Models (LLMs): A Game-Changer for SMBs
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has recently launched a revolutionary AI strategy for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) serving the Small and Medium Business (SMB) market. At the heart of this strategy is GreenLake for Large Language Models (LLMs), a cloud computing platform designed to provide on-demand AI modeling in a supercomputing cloud environment.
HPE's Investment in AI
This platform is part of HPE’s massive $2.6 billion investment in artificial intelligence. This investment includes the acquisition of Cray supercomputers, Determined AI (a machine learning software development environment), and Pachyderm (software that automates data versioning and reproducibility in AI models). HPE's CTO, Fidelma Russo, highlighted the accessibility of the new platform, stating, “Instead of having to buy a supercomputer, you can now simply subscribe to HPE GreenLake for Large Language Models as a service. There you will have access to one of the most powerful supercomputers in the world to train your data or leverage our models. There will be a button for that on the GreenLake platform, making AI accessible for all.”
Support for MSPs
To further support MSPs, HPE has hired hundreds of engineers to help with AI projects and strategies. Evan Sparks, Chief Product Officer for AI at HPE, emphasized this commitment, stating, “We’re pushing forward as quickly as we can.”
