What do you think will be the next big step in the fintech field?
I think the next big step in the fintech field will be a shift away from apps and websites and towards virtual assistants that can help you with your finances.
I think this is going to happen for a few reasons: First, businesses are already moving their customer service from phone calls to chatbots, and it makes sense for them to do the same when it comes to financial services. Second, I think we're at an age where people are used to having their personal information stored online, but they don't want all of it out there at once—they want some of it private and some of it public.
I also think that by 2030 we'll see a lot more people using voice-activated technology like Amazon's Alexa or Google Home, which means they'll be able to ask questions without typing any information into a computer or phone screen.
The end result will hopefully be that we all feel safer and more comfortable using fintech products because our personal information won't be exposed as easily.
