Well, first off—don't panic! You're not alone. In fact, according to the National Association of Investors Corporation (NAIC), most people who invest have experienced at least one loss. That's why it's so important not to let your emotions get the best of you when this happens—it can lead down a dangerous path where your self-confidence is eroded by these setbacks, which makes it harder to make good decisions about how much risk you want to take on next time around.

So what should you do instead? Take a deep breath! Then take some time to really evaluate whether this was truly just bad luck or if there was something else going on here that might have contributed to the loss (like maybe not researching enough before making that investment).

If you're experiencing a loss on an investment, the first thing you should do is take a deep breath and assess the situation. Have you lost money on a stock? Is your portfolio down for the year? These are temporary setbacks that can happen to even the best investors.

The important thing is to not panic and make rash decisions. Instead, take a step back and figure out what went wrong. Was there a sudden change in the market that caught you off guard? Did you misinterpret some information about the company you were investing in? Once you know what caused the loss, you can work on preventing it from happening again in the future.

The first thing is to learn the lesson on why to took the loss. If there's anything to recoup them do it. Salvage if possible if not never ever try to repeat the mistake because you have paid for it now. But never ever as well take yourself out of the market. You spent time here it's just a set back not a failure for life.
