When did you first become interested in investment?

When I was a kid, I used to save up my allowance and spend it on lottery tickets. I wanted to be rich so bad! And then I realized that the chances of winning were so slim, it didn't make sense to keep spending money on them. So I started investing instead. I was always interested in business and making money, but when I learned about compound interest, it blew my mind. That was when I knew that investing was the thing for me.
