The stock market is a good place to invest in because it gives you the chance to take advantage of other people's money. Imagine that you have $1,000, and you want to buy some stocks. You could just buy one stock for $1,000 and hope you make money when you sell it later on. Or you could buy many different stocks for $1,000 each and hope that they do well.
